Bridges

These paintings of bridges were created as a reflection of my Turkish experience. I chose this theme because of its symbolic meaning. The stereotype description of this symbol is a “connection”. However, it includes also the idea of two different places at the ends. Istanbul is located between Europe and Asia, but it might be seen also as a border between Islamic and Christian culture. Therefore my paintings are very expressive.
