The main idea of this drawing series is a different point of view to life. I grew interested in this issue while I worked with disabled people. The title “Point of View“ includes two concepts: first, the comparison of life prospects of both healthy and handicapped people and second, description of the simple fact of difference in our visual perception. (Some handicapped people I worked with were spending whole days by lying in bed. They saw their room just from one point and from a perspective different than other people. Most of them felt it as a visual barrier.)
My drawing series is divided into pairs of drawings. Each of them shows the same place seen from different perspectives. Some of them also deal with penetration of two images and create a double perspective.
